Dr Brandon Hone
Dr. Brandon Hone studied medicine at the University of Alberta and completed his residency at the University of Calgary in 2016. He has been practicing in the Bow Valley since graduating and joined the Ridgeview/Spring Creek team in 2018, where he established his own patient panel. His clinical work includes family practice, urgent care, and hospitalist medicine.
In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, climbing, mountain biking, and spending time with his wife and three daughters

Dr Christa McPherson
Dr. McPherson completed her medical degree at the University of British Columbia and her Family Medicine Residency on Vancouver Island before moving to Canmore in 2009. She has been providing care as a Family Physician in the Bow Valley since then and is grateful to be part this wonderful community. Dr. McPherson stives to provide longitudinal, patient- centered care. She values the relationships she has developed with her patients over time and feels privileged to be part of their care team.

Outside of medicine she has a deep love for the outdoors and spends her time trying to keep up with her two boys on bikes or skiis and enjoying quiet dog walks in the forest.

Dr Dino Smiljic
Dr. Smiljic completed his medical degree at the University of Saskatchewan and his Family Medicine residency at Dalhousie University. His career has taken him from across Canada, most recently Wellington, New Zealand, and he’s excited to be returning to the Bow Valley community he has long called home.

Dino has spent nearly 30 years practicing collaborative, patient‑centered family medicine and has been a strong advocate for improving local care, including his past work with the Bow Valley Primary Care Network as both Board Member and Medical Director.
Outside of clinic life, he enjoys spending time in the mountains with his family and their dog.

Dr Emma Morin
Dr. Morin graduated from the University of Calgary, completing her residency at the University of Calgary. Dr. Morin is proud to have been a family physician in Canmore for over a decade.
She has many side interests and passions, including hospitalist medicine, dementia care, skin cancer detection, and teaching future doctors, but what she values the most is sharing the medical journeys of her paneled patients. She feels privileged to be living, working, and raising her family in the mountains.

Emma is originally from coastal BC, and loves hiking, biking, skiing and climbing in the mountains.

Dr Kendra Barrick
Dr. Barrick obtained her medical degree from the University of Ottawa in 2014. Originally from Kitchener, Ontario, she moved to Calgary to start her Family Medicine residency at the University of Calgary, and instantly fell in love with the mountains and the people. She returned back to school in 2020 to complete a General Practitioner in Oncology Fellowship and also works locally in our rural cancer centre.
Dr. Barrick works as a clinical lecturer at the University of Calgary, teaching current family medicine residents. When not practicing medicine, you can find Dr. Barrick in the mountains running, hiking and ice-climbing!

Dr Pauwlina Cyca
Dr. Pauwlina Cyca completed her medical training at the University of Alberta. Alongside her medical career, Dr. Cyca built an extensive professional foundation as a pharmacist. Having held many leadership roles throughout her career to advance patient care in both fields.
​
Her earlier graduate training focused on optimizing female athletic performance through hormone‑informed athletic programming. Pauwlina is passionate about supporting patients through complex health journeys and providing evidence based, whole‑person care.
​
Originally from the Maritimes, Pauwlina is now proud to be raising her family in Calgary. Her family shares a love of sport and the entire family trains for races in triathlons together, including her three young kids.

Michelle Zochniak
Michelle Zochniak completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Toronto before earning her Master of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner designation from Athabasca University in 2024. Her nursing experience spans primary care, mental health, and addiction medicine, shaping a well‑rounded and patient‑centered approach to care.

Originally from Toronto, Michelle relocated to Canmore in 2022 to enjoy the lifestyle and scenery of the Rocky Mountains. Outside of her clinical work, she can often be found skiing, hiking, or exploring the backcountry.

Devon Rae
Devon completed her Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Alberta in 2005, continuing with a Master of Nursing at the University of Calgary in 2010, with a focus on skin Cancer. She has spent over two decades working in medical dermatology, expanding to family practice and neurology at Spring Creek. Devon has lead roles on our Skin Assessment and Migraine team.
Originally from Edmonton, Devon has called Canmore home since 2012. She is a mom to three active girls, and spends her free time running, x-country skiing, at hot yoga, or in the kitchen fueling her hungry family. She also never says no to a Nordic Spa invite.
Special Interests: Skin Cancer, Migraine management, Sleep Guidance, General Family Medicine.

Jaymie
Jaymie completed her nursing program through Conestoga College in 2017. Following graduation she worked in a variety of clinical settings, including complex continuing care, wound care, and inpatient mental health. Since joining our team she has helped develop a Sexual Health Clinic aimed at improving access for Bow Valley residents. Jaymie is passionate about providing inclusive, and compassionate patient centered care.

In 2021 Jaymie and her dog Ozzy relocated from Elora, On and have called Canmore home since. Outside of the clinic Jaymie enjoys spending time outdoors with Ozzy, taking full advantage of life in the Bow Valley through hiking, camping, and skiing.

Anne
​Anne was born and raised in Montreal but has been calling the Canadian Rockies home since 2011. She joined the Integrated Team in October 2022, after working on hospital internal medicine and cardiology units in Calgary. Anne hosts our Sexual Health Clinic on Tuesdays, and she is a certified Advanced Foot Care Nurse.
Prior to becoming a nurse, Anne worked as a tour guide in Banff, Jasper and New Zealand. She enjoys downhill skiing and ski touring, as well as climbing, but her passion is hiking and backcountry camping.
Anne loves all animals, especially her senior dog Juggles, who has now retired from mountain adventures. When you see Anne, feel free to provide suggestions for hikes in Canada or abroad! Sharing your best dog, cat or wildflower photos will always make her day!

Chantel
Chantel was born and raised in St. Albert, AB. She has 2 beautiful daughters, 2 dogs and 3 cats who all keep her very busy. She has just recently moved to Canmore in September of 2023 to join the Ridgeview/ Spring Creek Integrated Health Medical team.

Chantel has her Social work diploma which she received from MacEwan University and her Medical Office Assistant Certificate.
​
Chantel enjoys spending time outdoors: walking , biking, skiing and snowshoeing. One of her passions is volunteering with local animal rescues.

Medical Office Admin Team
Our Medical Office Administration team is dedicated to creating a welcoming, seamless experience for every patient who walks through our doors. From the first point of contact, they play a vital role in supporting appointment coordination, managing referrals, assisting our providers, and responding to patient with care and professionalism.
